Abe’s Fukushima

During the past 2 years, the preoccupation of the Japanese authorities in the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear plants was — you guessed it — the removal of the spent plutonium fuel rods to another storage site.  Saving these precious nuclear weaponization materials remained the national priority and, only after that had been substantially accomplished,
did TEPCO (the politically powerful Tokyo Electric Power Company) admit that the nuclear disaster is still out of control, and most likely aggravated by the weapon-relocation project:

Of course, this is just one piece of Japan’s militarist jigsaw.  In a flurry of moves, the Abe administration has been advancing their agenda in quick steps recently, including this flagrant expansion in processing even more nuclear materials:
