With major “newspapers of record” like the New York Times and Washington Post facing the very real threat of financial destruction, they’ve more than ever become Deep State vanity presses owned by mega-billionaries like Carlos Slim (NYT) and Jeff Bezos (WaPo).
Worse yet, due to doors opened by the likes of NAFTA and Clinton-era telecommunications reform, nearly all major news media have been consolidated into only six mega-conglomerates. Perhaps, then, the further degradation of an already-troubled field shouldn’t be surprising.
Popular YouTube Channels Aimed at Children Bombard Viewers with Bizarre Repetition of Abortion, Suicide, Scat Eating, Torture, & Other Disturbing Themes
Co-opting popular characters and viral keywords like Minnie Mouse, Elsa from Frozen, and “superhero IRL,” the videos feature depraved repeating themes and imagery depicting cheating/infidelity, pregnancy/abortion, simulated sex, dungeon torture, injections, and even defacation and scat eating in their content.
Collectively the channels have many millions of views, presumably from children, but adults who have discovered the channels have found their content incoherent as well as highly disturbing.
